The Season of Soup

2 14 oz cans V8 juice
1.5-2 lbs ground beef
2 small bags frozen mixed veggies
1 can cream of mushroom
1 can cream of celery
1 onion chopped

Brown beef and onion together in large pot. Add V8, soups and veggies and bring to small boil. Turn range to medium heat and let simmer 40-60 minutes. Delicious!!

I make the easy JIFFY cornbread, a little sweetness to go with the tomato juices.

Sweet girl praying over her soup...

With all this rain and cooler temps, there's nothing I love more than a warm bowl of Hearty soup. This is probably my favorite winter recipe and is super easy. I made it Monday with cornbread and then warmed up again for Tuesday and made Grill Cheese to go with! Whoop up a bowl, it'll sure warm you up!!

Charleston

Our Friends Blake and Lybbi Epperson

Doesn't this lifestyle look rather Enjoyable?

Isaac and Blake aboard an Aircraft Carrier post WW II

Magnolia's, the most delicious Restaurant in town...the building is a pale pink, so pretty!!

Don't you just love that porch? I pictured myself reading a book and sipping a mimosa!!

This gate was an entrance to a 23 million dollar home. Built before the Civil War, the gate itself was worth over a million dollars...

This Bridge connects the city to the beaches and islands next door.

LOVE it!!!

Love him too...for taking me on a fabulous trip!!!!!!

Isaac and and I took a much needed mini-vacation to SC after Thanksgiving! If you've never been, you absolutely must go!! It is old, beautiful and full of history. I love old architecture, especially the Antebellum homes...they are a sight to see! The old Market is still alive and jumping today with vendors from all over selling art work, jewelry, and woven baskets. Before the time of airplanes, Charleston was one of the major coastal cities bringing in goods and immigrants to our nation...a major meeting point between the north and the south, the starting point of the Civil War. Enough of that, it was Beautiful!! So much to see and do!!

Space Ranger Braxton!!

Favorite present picked out by Daddy

His face when he opened his special present!!

November is always a big month for us...my birthday, Braxton's birthday and the Anniversary too! And a little football on the side...I turned 30 on the 11th and Brax turned 4 on the 18th. Isaac and I celebrated 6 wonderful years together on the 6th. I honestly can't believe my little red-headed baby is 4 already...he is so tall now, he's not toddler looking at all...makes me kind of sad. He just looks too grown up...He had a Space birthday last Friday and it was nuts, for real!! But fun for the kids. Brax is happy to say he's 4 now and is already talking about when he turns 5...what is up with that??
