Getting started early

We are having Christmas this week with my sister and her boyfriend from CO and are enjoying all the fun things the season has to offer! Our favorite right now is the Santa Train that my mother has up at her house! Braxton, and Janie Belle too, just love to sit and watch it!

Janie Belle is 6 months!

Our sweet baby girl is getting so big! She is now 15 pounds and is oh so healthy! She sits up and wants to put everything in her mouth! Isn't she precious??

To the ZOO!

For B's actual birthday, Tuesday, Nov. 18, we went to the Montgomery Zoo! Mom, Braxton, Nonney, Janie Belle and our friend Ginny Cox. It was very pretty and a little chilli but a great day for the Zoo. He liked the monkeys best and the panther or "black cat" as B called it! The highlights were the train ride, snack time, and the backhoe that we saw when we were leaving! I think Brax liked the backhoe best of all! (Zoo animals are just "ok," not as exciting as heavy equipment!)

Isaac and his friend Gavin Nawrocki spent the weekend putting together Braxton's new swing set for his birthday! It took forever, but little B LOVES it! We've been on it every day since it arrived! Thank you Daddy!!

Sunday, Nov. 16, we had Braxton's 2nd Birthday party at our house! We invited our little friends to the country to enjoy a tractor hay-ride! Braxton thought it was so cool that everybody he knew just kept showing up at his house! He kept telling everybody, "Happy Birthday!" No, no silly boy, it's YOUR birthday!

We celebrated my 28th birthday last night at Olive Garden! Nothing fancy, just the family! I loved it though, having both my babies with me made my birthday such a blessing! My how time flies!

Janie Belle and I went to Colorado last week to visit my sister, Aubrey and her boyfriend Ryan! We had sooo.. much fun hanging out and enjoying the COLD outdoors! Estes Park is where we ventured to, it is absolutely beautiful; mountains all around us! Can't wait to go back!

Janie Belle is growing up so quickly right now! She watches your every move and wants to touch everything in site! She smiles a ton and loves to squeal like a little baby piglet! I love watching her, she's very social and is always seeking attention! What a girl??

Dreamfield Farms

This place is soooo much fun! Perfect Saturday get away for the fall! Piglet races, cow train, animals to pet and feed, corn crib, stick horse caral and much more! We went this past weekend with Melanie Hinson and her two kids Miller and Ansley! We stayed all day and wore my little B out! Great for parents and lots of places to sit and rest! Please take your kids: I had just as much fun as Braxton and want to go back soon!

Braxton's little friend Whit Jackson has his 2nd birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch this past Sunday! We hadn't been before, so this was quite a treat! These boys had so much fun and great, outdoor entertainment! These pictures say it all! Braxton's favorite was chasing the chickens around in the barn. Maybe we'll have to get B some chickens of his own! (or maybe not!)
